Geoffrey
Goad is a Partner in an Investment firm in Toronto, who joined the MLA Board of
Directors in 2018. He is currently On the Government and Land Use Committee,
The Communications and Membership Committee and the Water Level Task Force.
Geoff
was initially drawn to the work of the MLA when he was trying to understand the
reasons and issues behind the flooding events that occurred in the past
decade. He joined the Water Level Task
Force which led to his invitation to join the Board of Directors.Geoff
is a lifelong cottager, originally at his family cottage and then as an owner
in 1997. He is a Third generation Islander on Lake Joseph where his wife
Elspeth and their three boys and their spouses try to keep a 145-year-old
building up and functioning.
