Kate Mostowyk currently works at Burgundy Asset Management as an Investment Counsellor and joined the MLA Board of Directors in 2020 as Treasurer.Kate joined the MLA to volunteer her time to an organization in Muskoka where she could work alongside passionate, like-minded people who care deeply about preserving and enhancing the Muskoka Lakes region and ensuring that future generations can enjoy it.Kate’s family purchased land on Lake Joseph in the 70’s and built their family cottage in the late 80’s. Kate spent her summers at the cottage from the age of two and as a teenager worked at a variety of Muskoka’s favourite places including Port Sandfield Marina, Cleveland’s House and the Lake Joseph Club. Her parents have now retired at the cottage and she spends weekends visiting in all seasons, although summer will always be her favourite.
