Donations:

Donations will be used to fund expenses incurred by the MLA in seeking changes to the developer’s (Cliff Bay Muskoka Corp.) proposed draft Ministerial Zoning Order (MZO) to bring it more in line with the Town of Gravenhurst’s Official Plan and Zoning By-law. Expenses will include retaining a planner and a government relations firm and paying for the cost of signs and communications/social media work. 

Any unused balance will be deposited in the MLA‘s Preserve Muskoka Fund (PMF), to be used in accordance with the PMF Guidelines (to obtain the advice of technical and/or legal experts (such as planners and planning lawyers) when challenging unsustainable development of the waterfront and/or advocating for policy and by-law changes. 

Please note, while the MLA is a not-for-profit corporation, we are not a registered charity and are unable to issue charitable receipts.
