Sally’s Priorities for the Township

Sally cares deeply about accessible safe recreation, preserving the environment, and financial transparency for all community members. Sally believes the Township should institute bottom-up budgeting and will work to find District-wide solutions to affordable housing and economic development.   Sally and her family are committed to responsible development and preserving and protecting the Muskoka environment for future generations.

Sally moved to Canada in 1990 and is now a Canadian citizen.

In response to the question "What are your top three issues?" in a recent muskokaregion article, Sally says:

1. Preservation of the environment (water, flora, fauna, shoreline);

2. Establishing direction, framework and bylaws for responsible development and enforcement; and

3. Financial transparency for all constituents, with a focus on taxes and municipal budgets.
